Road transfer to moremi game reserve which will be a dusty dirt road drive and animal site seeing of wildlife along the way. By the time we arrive in camp which will be a tented camping experience in the wild. Camp will be up and running with bush chef and camp team ready to welcome us. Late afternoon towards sunset will see us exploring moremi game reserve to catch the last movement of day light animals and the African sunset in the delta. The early morning of the first night will see us waking up at the crack of dawn in the quest to catch the last movement of nocturnal game and predators, only to return once the sun starts to rise to freshen up and have breakfast at the hands of a professional bush chef. The morning activity will be followed by a drive to the channels of the Okavango delta in Moremi game reserve to experience a delta motor boat ride.
Day three will see us departing the unfenced moremi game reserve to set camp in the bushman village called Khwai, bordering moremi game reserve popularly known for roaming predators like packs of the endangered African wild dogs to lions. we explore the wildlife game of Khwai bushman village and all it has to offer. Last day in Khwai, day four, we take a more intimate walk in to the Okavango delta by visiting the delta channels. We take a traditional canoe called mokoro, operated by local village polers who are the masters of unveiling the secretes of the delta. We ride away as a convoy through hippos and crocodiles that shy away from any movement or sound that comes their way. Water birds and fish eagles are all at plain view as they fish in the very channels we are gliding on. Our destination is the secluded delta islands, which we will be guided through by the water polers to experience a walking safari and take a closer view of animal trails.
Day 5 we all take a relocation drive up the heavy sands through sand dunes to the wild jewel called the Savuti Marsh. Renowned for its inhabitants of large prides of wild lions of some reaching over 50 in one pride. A rare breed known to take down giant elephants. We explore Savuti in the hunt to get a glimpse of the lion prides while camp is set and brought to live by the active safari team who are always a step ahead in all relocations. We experience the Savuti sunset only to come back to the new tented camp site to relax to what the chef has in store for us. Day 6 sees us touching each and every corner of the Savuti marsh to unmask activities of the night by the many predators that hunt in Savuti. In the day’s light we explore the visible nights kills by lions, hyenas, leopards and many scavengers maneuvering their way to survive.
Day 7 we set our eyes on the chobe river and all its wild offering. We transfer from Savuti to Chobe, bush camping is left behind to cool off in the air-conditioned rooms of safari lodges in Chobe. First day in chobe sees us spending the afternoon by exploring chobe national park and its wild by game view 4×4 only to leave the park and reenter it through the river on a motor boat. we witness the sunset and crossing of large herds of elephants and buffalos crossing the deep rivers in to Botswana from Namibia. Last day in chobe is met with a more relaxed atmosphere and movements of exploring the village and its cultural. We visit a Nile crocodile farm to have a closer look at some of the largest predators alive with some as old as 20 years and longer than the average vehicle in length.
Day 9 sees us having our last breakfast together, if time allows, we revisiting the village to grab few memorabilia’s before we sent you off with a bag full of memories of the wild.
